Therefore, it seems logical to support wine producers using sustainable, organic, or biodynamic practices that help protect and preserve the future of our planet Earth for future generations. (See IFOAM Principals for an example.

It also seems natural to attempt to locate wines that would please the palate, the pocketbook, and "hopefully" the propensity (and intense natural inclination and preference) to sample wines made from from all the wine producing regions of the world.

Wine HealthFirst, let's get rid of the Sulfite issue
Sulfites are naturally occurring elements present in both food and wine. They develop during the fermentation process of wine-making. Many wine-makers add additional sulfites after the fermentation process to preserve the fruit flavor characteristic and aging potential of the wine.

Sulfites OFTEN are accused of causing headaches (mild to severe) when people consume red wine. However, after many years of research, there has not been a single study (I could locate) that proves that the sulfites in wine cause the headaches.

In fact, white wine actually may contain more sulfites than red wine, and only about 1% of the human population has an allergic reaction to sulfites.

All wine, even Certified Organic Wine, contains at least 2 to 10 parts per million of sulfites.More about Sulphites
